LG To Reveal New Gram Laptops At CES 2018
LG, the South Korean electric major, has declared that it will reveal its newest series of laptops below the Gram range at the next CES 2018 tech show. The firm rolled out the Gram range of laptops in 2014 for the first time. The firm also states that the new devices will aim on portability and will be field by i7 Intel Core processor.
The firm will reveal 14-inch and 13-inch devices that will sport 72Wh battery and promises to provide on a sole charge full day of battery backup. Both the laptops will be field by 8th generation Intel Core i5 and Core i7 processors. The firm also claimed that the laptops will provide a secondary SSD storage for extra internal memory and will also take utmost 10 Seconds of booting time.
The devices have also approved by MIL-STD 810G durability tests of the U.S. military, which makes the laptops resistant to temperature, pressure, and impact. The laptop will also have a webcam, backlit keyboard, and support for Headphone X DTS, which for rich 1.5W hi-fi surround sound, provides multi-channel sound of almost 11.1 channels. The devices will also have In-cell Touch Screen, Fingerprint Reader, and Thunderbolt 3.
Speaking regarding the laptops, head of IT business division of LG, Chang Ik-hwan, claimed, “We are extremely proud to roll out the latest Gram PCs, which have been developed in direct reaction to those needing to get a high performance and all-round device with utmost portability. LG provides more influential devices that give durability and greater work efficiency while carrying on the original identity of the product of providing lightest device in its sector. The 2018 Gram range can tick all the boxes for consumers who need lightweight and versatile devices with quicker processing abilities.”
